Stories of Change show how countries, working with the Global Evaluation Initiative and its partners, are strengthening national monitoring and evaluation systems to improve how evidence informs public decisions. Each story focuses on locally led reform efforts—building institutional capacity, embedding evaluation in policy processes, and expanding the practical use of evidence across sectors. Together, they illustrate GEI’s role in supporting more responsive, inclusive, and sustainable development by reinforcing country systems and cultures of learning.
