Last month, a delegation from École nationale d'administration publique (ENAP) visited the African Center for Graduate Studies in Management (CESAG), the host institution for CLEAR-FA (Center for Learning on Evaluation and Results for Francophone Africa). Both ENAP and CLEAR-FA are GEI Implementing Partners.

Reducing fragmentation and catalyzing collaboration between separate M&E efforts across the GEI Network - and between governments, donors, evaluation professionals and other key M&E stakeholders - is a key goal of GEI.

As part of the GEI Network, ENAP and CLEAR-FA support GEI’s mission of helping governments strengthen their national M&E systems. ENAP delivers M&E capacity-building programs across Francophone Africa and the MENA region through its PIFED and TAQYEEM programs.  CLEAR-FA supports French-speaking country governments in Africa with technical, advisory and capacity-building support on M&E.

CESAG and ENAP, both highly respected institutions in field of education and capacity-building, have had a productive relationship for several years. This visit not only strengthened these existing ties but demonstrated the continued commitment of both institutions to collaborate and share their respective expertise. During visit, discussions highlighted current projects and future opportunities for collaboration. The exchanges focused on varied subjects, from teaching to research to capacity-building, including a discussion on avenues to share best practices and the promotion of academic excellence.
