About the Event

Within the Government system, data has usually been considered as a tool for monitoring and supervision. This has specially been true for teacher training programmes. The excessive prioritization of data based supervision has been known to disincentivize action and lead to potential fudging and perverse reporting. In MP, Peepul ran the CM Rise Digital Teacher Training programme, leveraging the national platform DIKSHA, which evolved into a holistic Teacher Professional Development (TPD) programme, supporting 300,000 teachers in the State. Over the course of two years the entire programme was managed through telemetry data made available in the backend, which was combined with field-based insights to inform teacher training policies.

In the session, we will be sharing the approach taken for analysis of telemetry data. This will be useful for anyone leveraging the DIKSHA platform nationally, and for analysis of large scale teacher development programme or other programmes at scale.
