Does GEI provide financial support to organizers hosting gLOCAL events?
No, gLOCAL organizers are responsible for all costs associated with hosting an event during gLOCAL Evaluation Week.
What support and resources will GEI provide to event organizers?
The GEI will support gLOCAL event organizers by providing a wide range of promotional resources including: social media graphics, zoom backgrounds, and other templates that can be customized for your needs.
I want to participate in gLOCAL but I don’t want to host an event.
You can join gLOCAL as an event participant! The calendar of events will be available in May, after which you will be able to review and register for gLOCAL events that interest you.
Will there be a recording of events? How can I access it?
Organizers who choose to record events will upload recordings and other relevant materials on the gLOCAL website in their event summary section. Participants will be able to access these materials a few weeks after gLOCAL ends.
Will I get a certificate for participating in the event?
Event organizers are responsible for issuing participant certificates. Please contact the specific event’s organizer if you would like a certificate. The gLOCAL organizing team does not issue certificates for participation.
I want to attend a gLOCAL event, how do I register?
In order to register for gLOCAL events, you will first need to create a participant profile (user registration). Once you have a glocal account, you can browse the events for the year and register for them!
