Fundamentals of Monitoring and Evaluation in humanitarian and development projects
About the Event
Through this training event, I aim to target Afghan male and female university graduates and young professionals, particularly who are deprived of studying and working in Afghanistan. This introductory-level course presents the fundamentals of monitoring and evaluation in the development and humanitarian projects with practical applications of concepts and methods in the Dari/Persian language across Central Asia.
At the end of the course, participants will become familiar with the methods and tools to design, monitor and evaluate a development or humanitarian intervention. The participants will get familiarized with the project’s result chain, data life cycle, conducting surveys, basics of data analytical skills, and components of an effective monitoring and evaluation plan. Participants will have an improved understanding of why M&E is important and how it can improve the quality of their projects while promoting learning and accountability.
