Sobre o evento

What if evaluation helped us not only understand the past, but also anticipate and shape the future?

This interactive webinar invites participants to explore how foresight thinking can expand the scope and relevance of evaluation in the face of 21st-century challenges such as climate crises, social transformation, uncertainty, and persistent inequalities.

Aligned with the theme of transformational change, the session will introduce foresight tools—such as trend analysis and the futures wheel—to demonstrate how evaluation can inform more inclusive, imaginative, and strategic decision-making.

During the webinar, participants will:

Learn from experiences that have applied foresight in evaluation.
Discuss the capacities evaluators need to become future-oriented.
Reflect on the field’s readiness to integrate foresight approaches.

This space is designed to inspire evaluators, decision-makers, and change agents to reposition evaluation as a tool to co-create more just, resilient, and sustainable futures.
