Develop a Culture of Evidence-Informed Decision-Making
Through collaboration with national governments, civil society organizations, and other non-governmental organizations, GEI develops and engages in activities that raise awareness and promote a culture of managing for results, adaptive management, and informed risk-taking to enhance development effectiveness.
GEI’s work includes a range of services aimed at developing effective national and institutional M&E frameworks:
- Conducting country-level diagnostics and needs assessments to understand the state of M&E in the country
- Developing M&E policies, plans, systems, tool kits, and processes
- Conducting training programs for government and nongovernment stakeholders
- Convening partners to jointly determine M&E agendas for regions, countries, and institutions
