About the Event
As the demand for evidence-informed decision-making increases in the humanitarian and development sector, evaluation is shifting beyond the production of reports to ensure meaningful use of findings to inform real-world decisions. This online session explores the evolving landscape of evaluation use, unpacking how organizations move beyond instrumental use and the strategic development of innovative use products designed to bridge the gap between evidence and action. Roundtable discussants from three UN agencies (World Food Programme, UNICEF and World Health Organization) will share real-world examples and reflect on challenges, such as balancing rigor with relevance, fostering stakeholder ownership, and addressing contextual barriers to use. Attendees will gain practical insights on how to create intentional, tailored use products and user-interaction that resonate with diverse audiences and enhance the uptake of evaluation results.
