Pathways to a Just Transition: Promoting Circular Economy and Protecting Biodiversity

Panel Discussion | Online

About the Event

Combating climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution requires urgent and global action, now and in the future. Development cooperation can play a vital role in this. It must, however, take into account the interests and needs of partner countries and groups in vulnerable situations, ensuring a just transition for all and leaving no-one behind. This session will present the methods, and findings of two recent strategic evaluations by the German Institute for Development evaluation. Both put a spotlight on how development cooperation can integrate socio-economic and ecological interests.
