Effective evaluation is essential for sustainable development by providing reliable information for decision-making and continuous improvements in policies and programs. Capacity development in evaluation plays a fundamental role in strengthening evidence informed decision-making. However, different regions of the world face unique challenges in this regard, leading to diverse strategies by involved institutions to address them. This event will offer a unique platform to understand the global landscape of capacity development in evaluation. The panel will bring together a representative from each of the following regions: Anglophone Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia Pacific, and Europe. By exploring the challenges, strategies and lessons learned from each region, the panel will provide a global perspective on ECD strategies.
