Leveraging Data to Drive Business Expansion - Lessons Learned from a Solid Waste Collection Program in Rural Cambodia

Webinar | Online

About the Event

Rural Cambodians have little access to safe and reliable solid waste management (SWM) services. In 2024, iDE worked to strengthen local entrepreneur capacity to sustainably provide SWM services. We developed a cloud-based monitoring system to track business metrics and make informed decisions; by leveraging this simple but critical system, the business saw a 400% customer increase in five months, investing in an additional waste truck as a result to meet this demand. The team will share how SWM is reaching previously unreachable households in rural Cambodia through innovative data collection.
