The Future of Evaluation: Portfolio Approaches to Global Challenges

Panel Discussion | Online

About the Event

As global challenges become more complex and with an increasing recognition of the need to strengthen Global South perspectives, evaluating global initiatives that focus on targeted financing must also evolve. Similarly, the context of available data sources has shifted dramatically, placing evaluation as a possible central source for decision-makers. This panel brings together leaders from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB, and Malaria’s evaluation function and peer organizations to discuss how portfolio evaluation is adapting to meet current and future needs. Panelists will share lessons learned, innovations in commissioning, implementation, and quality assessment, and opportunities to strengthen portfolio evaluations for more effective decision-making in a rapidly changing world.
