About the Event
WFP Ethiopia implemented the Satellite Index Support to Pastoralists in Ethiopia (SIIPE) programme (2018–2022) to bolster resilience against extreme weather. Initially piloted in three woredas of the Somali Region, it expanded by 2021 to benefit nearly 29,000 households (82% male-headed, 18% female-headed). Co-financed by Sweden and Switzerland, with a USD 5.6M budget, the program provided financial protection and support. This session will share key evaluation highlights, focusing on performance and outcomes.
