About the Event
Targeted gender-focused programs in India have advanced poverty reduction and social inclusion, but inequality and marginalization of vulnerable groups remain. Climate change exacerbates risks, impacting food and water security, livelihoods, and health, with women being more vulnerable. Building resilience through climate change adaptation, participatory approaches, and evaluations can improve coping. The panel will discuss cases from India, focusing on concurrent, participative, and endline evaluations on poverty reduction, climate change adaptation with focus on gender and social inclusion.
