About the Event

An interactive online webinar, led by EvalYouth North America, designed to empower young and emerging professionals exploring careers and opportunities in monitoring and evaluation in North America. This webinar will provide participants with essential tools to advance their careers by helping them create and navigate long-term career objectives. By the end of the webinar, students and emerging evaluators will:
- deepen their understanding of the evaluation landscape and explore various career pathways,
- identify opportunities for growth within the field,
- exchange experiences and share success stories, and
- develop customized goal-oriented agendas for pursuing a career in evaluation.
Through the facilitated discussions and engaging, hands-on online activities, participants will clarify their career goals and develop actionable steps to achieve them. By the end of the webinar, they will have a crafted individualized plan to curate an agenda aligned with their professional development objectives.
Emerging evaluators as facilitators from EvalYouth North America, will share their own career development journeys, demonstrating how they have adopted tools and strategies to navigate and propel their careers in evaluation. The online webinar will create a supportive and open virtual safe space where interested and young emerging evaluators can discuss challenges, seek advice, and engage with peers and mentors.
The materials for this workshop was developed in partnership by EvalYouth Global Network, UNFPA Evaluation Office, P2p+ Initiative and Global Evaluation Initiative with input from youth representatives across the globe to promote career development among young and emerging evaluators.
