About the Event

This workshop will empower young and emerging evaluators (YEEs), early-career researchers, and students with the knowledge and skills needed to conduct gender-responsive evaluations of climate action.

Participants will:

1) Deepen their understanding of how climate impacts are influenced by gendered power dynamics and structural inequalities.

2) Explore real-world case studies that demonstrate how evaluation has contributed to equity-driven climate solutions.

3) Gain hands-on experience with practical tools and frameworks for gender-responsive climate evaluation.

4) Develop the capacity to critically assess climate initiatives through a gender lens and contribute to more inclusive, just, and effective climate action.

Rai Sengupta Evaluation Consultant, UNICEF Evaluation Office Rai serves as an Evaluation Consultant with the UNICEF Evaluation Office and conducts evaluations of UNICEF’s work globally in the areas of climate change, WASH, child protection, and health. Rai holds an MSc in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation from the University of Oxford.
