About the Event
Join this interactive webinar to explore how interest-holders' values, culture, and systemic factors critically shape Evaluation Capacity Building (ECB), drawing on real-world lessons from Nigeria and the U.S.A. The webinar highlights the importance of diverse interest-holders' values in ECB design and implementation. Participants will reflect on key questions such as: Whose values—and what values—drive ECB efforts? How do power, equity, and systems influence whose perspectives are elevated or excluded?
Grounded in findings from a cross-national dissertation study, the session introduces the culturally responsive evaluation and sytems theory (CRE-ST) framework as a practical, equity-centered tool for examining and transforming interest engagement in ECB. Participants will be invited to engage in discussion, reflect on their own settings, and explore how they can adapt the framework to advance more inclusive and responsive ECB in their work.
