About the Event

This session is designed to inspire and empower Young and Emerging Evaluators (YEEs) to unlock their leadership potential and step confidently into roles of influence and impact—both today and in the years ahead. Through an engaging and practical discussion, participants will explore what it truly means to be a champion in the evaluation field. The session will offer actionable insights and tips on building key leadership competencies, including:

Purpose-driven impact

In addition, the session will dive into the unique opportunities and strengths that YEEs bring to the table, as well as the challenges and barriers they may face on their leadership journey. Participants will be encouraged to reflect, share, and co-create strategies to rise above the obstacles and thrive as changemakers in the evaluation community.

Khalil Bitar President, IOCE Khalil Bitar is a Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (PMEL) expert with extensive multidisciplinary experience across international organizations, government institutions, and NGOs. He currently serves as the President of the International Organization for Cooperation in Evaluation (IOCE), Co-Chair of EvalPartners, and Co-Leader of Eval4Action. He is co-founder and former Chair of EvalYouth Global and founder and former President of the Palestinian Evaluation Association.
